When I first loaded your site, I thought "oh no, not another ad type site" lol wink

However I was very surprised at how well organized it is.

Your have many different search options and sections.

I like the design, the features, how fast everything works/loads.

Your meta tags need worked on. You have the exact same tags on every page I went to ! Big No No ! Each page should be some what different. In the subject area you have this would be easy - like Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Activities ( as an example ).

Spend time on tags and learning as much as you can about SEO.

Hope this helps.

I was a little confused about what the site was by the home page, but once i went a little further realized what it was. you might want to explain to people what your payed features are up front, I really did like the design and the easy navigation. Good Luck

Beth,

I appreciate your frank comments about FreeAdLists, and I can understand your initial reaction. smile

I have done some SEO work since your post. As soon as the SEO was done, I noticed the site visitor count increased dramatically. I was getting about 2000 visitors per day for awhile but it has now stabalized around 800-1000 visitors per day. I'm continuing to learn more about SEO techniques.

Kim,

Thank you for your critique.

That seems to be a recurring theme with visitors. They aren't quite sure what FreeAdLists is all about. I need to work on that.

I've added a few features such as the scrolling marquee for Featured Ads. I have had some repeat customers so their results must be decent. I've submitted a couple Press Releases. One announced the site and the another discussed the added features.

Thanks again.

Roy

I really hate scrolling marquee ads. They should have gone the way of the Netscape "blink" tags.

Your "Related info" text at the bottom is seriously overstuffing keywords. How many times do you think you can use the words "free" or "ads" before it's seen as spam and penalized?

BTW, we do ask that you contribute some reviews in exchange for the feedback you get. If everyone asks for a review and no one gives one, where would you be?

JQ, I appreciate your feedback. I'm debating about removing the marquee. I had several users ask for it but it just looks archaic.

Regarding the Related info: I feel the same way you do. I had a regarded SEO'er perform the work, but frankly speaking, I'm not particularly happy with the result.

Sure, do you have a website in mind?
