Wow it looks great! Yes it looks very fresh. There are some weak spots... The site looks small and makes me think there are not many people on this site. Perhaps you should make the layout more complex. Make more pictures. The 3 pictures, divide them and make it 27 pictures. Perhaps you should add more green grassy background. A transparant looking grassy (green) golf background would be great.

Also you could add more symbols, like a golf stick.

People would not like to register unless they know for certain that their registration is going to lead them to success in finding a (golf) partner. Perhaps you should add more text like: "Register and you will find a (golf) partner soon".

Perhaps you should not mention that people can find a date on this site. Some people only want to golf, not find a date. Dont' put a topless lady on your site, just ordinary dressed people.

Perhaps you could add a frame on the right side. Where you can see a map and golf background. Perhaps add instructions on how to golf. And then you can add a link to a golf shop.

The navigation is very clear.

The appearance is good. Perhaps you should add a map.

My english is not very well, so I will not find all typo and grammar mistakes.

I don't like the text beneath online dating for golfers. I would not want to date with someone on the first time I am going to golf. Only later.

Rather I think you should add text about the effectiveness of your service. Promise people they will find a golf partner in 2 weeks for example. And that registering will initiate these 2 weeks.

Or...

Promise them that golfing is fun and that they should register immidiately or they will miss out on all the fun.

I can't answer these SEM questions.

Suggest you check keywords in overature, word tracker, or similar. The overuse of the word golf may be a problem. Check for keywords and phrases.
Are you stressing dating or a golf partner ??
Nice site, the biggest problem I see is meta tags.
hope this helps

Nice layout and visuals, you may try to implement an option for state under quick search. If I'm in Utah, I don't want a list of golfers in New York. Even though there are no people in some of the states I would list all the states when someone is browsing.

For instance I browsed for women 26-30, it then listed South Africa, United Kingdom, United States (it may be better to stick with one country)

I then click United States and it listed 4 states. If I'm a casual user and see that my state isn't listed, I may just turn away.

I would suggest since it is free to register that you list all the states, but require registration before viewing the profile list associated with the state. This will help to build the list, quicker. A site like this is all about the number of profiles.
