The idea/concept is a good one.

I was thrown off right away going into the site and seeing the banner with people and paper work. I understand this is a work shop, however being as you are gearing it towards children, I think your site should show something more "fun" or child like.

The drop down links are not user friendly. I thought they were not working and then I figured out I had to click right on the word not a hair off of it to get it working.
This can get frustrating fast!

I could not go back to the index page by clicking on any home button. When I click on Home - news drops down and nothing I click on will take me to the main index again.

Too many clicks of the same picture to get to the actual album - shorten it up, by taking people right to the album until you are ready to expand the album into categories.

Show details which is at the bottom of each enlarged pic. I expected it to be details about the animal I was viewing - not about the size of the picture and camera used.

Not to sure I would "bad mouth" the competitors - you have
Unlike Zoolab or "bringing in birds of prey",
This is just my personal opinion - it sounds unprofessional.

Something like We are reaching out to involve children in a whole new way etc etc.... sounds better ( to me ).

I love the fact files ! GREAT lay out - great info ! You need more of these. This is what I expected to find when I click on the detail button ( mentioned above ).

Your sites description in your tag is great ( use that as your guideline for text on the page ).

Your title tag needs work.
Your key word tag needs work.

The tags that needs work are on every page I reviewed.

Most ( if not all ) of your title tags say "test page".

I think your lay out and such is nice. I think you need to learn or/and use better SE skills. I also think the site needs a lot more content.

My personal opinion - this is a good idea and could be a success if given the correct work.

PS: you will find a wealth of SE information at this site, as well as several people who will be more then willing to help you out, if we see you are really trying to learn and to make the needed corrections.
Pour a cup of coffee and search the threads here about meta tag "rules" and guidelines - your close, you just need some more knowledge smile

PSS: do the site a huge favor - so not submit it to ANY Search Engine. The SE will find you - and will re find you as you make changes/corrections.

I am not sure how much you know about this so I wanted to be sure to mention it, as I know all over the net there are ads to submit your site to 5,00000000000000 in .3 seconds for free ---- they are all garbage and will hurt your site - stay away wink

Oh one last thing ( for tonight lol )

You site needs this.

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<head>

I did not see it any where - again you can learn more about it around the board here.

After you make some changes and want a new review just post here or PM me and I will be happy to follow along - it will be interesting to watch. As I said before I think this idea is good and could grow smile

OK it is after 3 AM here and I am off to la la land to recharge the brain cells lol wink

The DOCTYPE above might be the right one, or you might need

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www/.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">

if you're using HTML rather than XHTML coding.
