Yahoo has spidered one of the sites I look after and I see Yahoo Slurp in my logs almost daily hitting various pages but their cache of the site in question is over 2 months old, sometimes 3. Is there anything I can do to force Yahoo to refresh the cache? The pages get updated almost weekly...

I just double checked this, we added content about 2-3 months ago, it's still not in the Yahoo index. Slurp has consumed the new content many times over since it was put up, in fact it hit it all long before googlebot hit it all, but none of the new pages show up yet in the index, and not using site:domain.com, the count is still what it was before we expanded the site.

Very odd, I'd always read Yahoo is very slow in certain ways. However, I can tell you that pages that are already indexed and appearing in site:domain.com and the serps seem to be updated quite quickly. Is there a backlog? Is there an index of spidered pages that has to wait to get into the main index of pages? This problem sounds familiar to me...
