How does this work?
Do I simply get a key like Google which I insert in my software application? My app has space for one, but after repeated tries to understand yahoo's documentation, it's either beyond me, or I'm in the wrong place.
How/where do I get a key? I run 5 reports each week - one for each site I track. Each report runs with an average of 25 terms to be found within the top 100 results. Not sure if that data makes a difference or not.
Thanks for th ehelp gang.

Here's some info on your question:
* Working with the Yahoo! API
Sounds fairly simple - just three easy steps:
1 - Yahoo ID application
2 - visit the Yahoo developer page
3 - get confused over XML feeds and other software dev crap
...see how easy that was! ...now we're just as perplexed as you!
