Hi guys,
I'm looking into starting an e-commerce store and was contemplating if I should opt for a Yahoo Small business account.
Have any of you ever used Yahoo Small Business? Do you recommend it or not?
And why?
From what I understand, you pay a monthly fee, pay 1.5% per transaction and list your products which are searchable with the Yahoo Shopping search engine...The traffic is there, you just got to optmize your products probably....anybody have a clue?

Yahoo Small business account.
I wouldn't necessarily recommend it. There are a lot of other deals out there, so you need to shop around.
Would the site/domain/ecommerce site be on your own domain or on another yahoo.com domain? If it's going to be a typical Yahoo! Store then I probably wouldn't do it because you don't have as much control over it as you would if you were to get separate hosting and have your own site.
Google also has a shopping cart service, so you might want to check that out, as well. You get a discount if you use the Google AdWords program, and Google has a lot of good traffic as well.

I think Yahoo has a more developped shopping section than Google...Yahoo Shopping among other sub section of Yahoo.
Google is cool, but there is no (i.e. Google Shopping) section like yahoo to direct buying customers.
We would have to research them both just to be sure...you never know!

Froogle is completely free. Why would you spend money when you can get your products in front of (or on top of) the search results for free?
