I am handling a web site for a puppy breeder and there has been many negative remarks about them posted several places online. I have known these people personally for several years - have bought one of their puppies yrs ago and have showed up at the kennel/ store unannounced. I have also view all their state and local inspection papers and check them out with AKA and such organizations.

They pass everywhere with flying colors.

I have emailed all my "proof" to google - to insider pages and other places online and each one has removed the posts, except for yahoo !

They banned the specific users who posted the remarks but are still refusing to remove the post from their yahoo business comment page.

Do these people have any legal rights I can use to help get these posts removed?

Or am I peeing on a frog huh

I would work on getting genuine "positive comments" posted out there on other sites. There will always be some negative comments made about every business. People generally expect that.

They will weigh up the amount of each, and the severity. Of course, you should work at getting blatantly false accusations removed, where possible. I assume that's a competitor posting those?

Yes, and I was successful at getting them removed from everywhere else but yahoo - they just refuse to budge - very frustrating
