Content Channels

Remember the old CompuServe ® forums ? Content organized: Forums, articles, chat, job boards, etc.... all targeted to specifically what you were interested in? Too bad that the Internet (and maybe AOL) ruined such a great thing, isn't it?

We've decided to resurrect the idea. We looked at Jimworld in it's entirety, and realized that we serve multiple markets. Search Engine Optimization ... Web Programming ... Internet Marketing ... Basic (and advanced) Webmastering, etc. Due to the size of Jimworld, finding all of the content relevant to what you're "in to" can be a daunting task, so we've taken all of the content, and interesting stuff that makes up JimWorld, and compressed it into bite-sized chunks, and organized it into what we call Channels

A "Channel" is a mini-website, designed to feel more like an application than a website.
Each channel borrows specific content and articles from the JimWorld websites, relative to the topic of the channel.
Forums within the channels are limited to those relevant to the channel. Note that the "Channel Forums" are the same that you'll find on our other forums, we've just made it so that the channels only have relevant topics.
Each channel will have it's own file library, allowing you share files relevant to the channel.

It's our hope that the channels will make your experience at Jimworld much more productive. As needs demand, we'll be adding more and more channels to the lineup.
