We have "inline" ads which is a way of an affiliate pulling in a specified # of search results in a very "adsense-like" format.
Currently, the affiliate has to specify the keyword. I'm working on a way to figure it out on the fly, but since most JH Users are on a single dedicated server at best, the networking overhead to do that (becomes 4 network requests per unique page view, even without other backfill coming in) would do-in most web servers. Once I find a better way to do it on the fly, perhaps with some extremely brilliant javascript, it'll be a full on adsense "clone". Should I call it "JackSense" ??? or is that just inviting disaster .... LOL.

JackSense!!! LOL Oh man nah not a good name for it hehe
Right now I use SmartPPC and they contextual ads, they are way too slow.
Also say you want a 468x60 one if the text is too long it ends up being say 468x600

Our stuff is all template/subtemplate based .... if it's too big to fit it's your fault on the design end
We'll have contextual ads, but not before I can make it "google fast" and extremely accurate. No point in releasing it in any other fasion.

Can anybody explain clearly what part is hyperseek and what part is Jackhammer? Confused. I'm interested in this software (hyperseek) but I see no mention of "jackhammer" on their site. What is this "jackhammer" I keep hearing about? Thanks.

It's all the same now -- previously, Hyperseek was just a basic search engine and directory and "Jackhammer" was an add on that turned Hyperseek in to a PPC, with bidding, financials, etc.
Now, Hyperseek is the full bananna -- search engine, directory, and PPC all together. With PPC being the only real way to monetize a directory, we decided to make that the default setup for Hyperseek.
People still refer to it as "Jackhammer" out of Habit, but it's all the same thing now.
